The Need for Restorative Dentistry
When do you need to see our team for restorative dentistry? If a tooth has been injured, let us know, even if the injury itself appears minor, as this could still lead to cavities or infection. Likewise, if your tooth hurts and the pain lasts for more than a day, then consider an appointment because you may need a restoration for a cavity or infection. Dental Fillings
If you have a cavity, we can offer a filling that treats the issue in only one visit. The composite resin we use is metal-free, safe for all ages, and can be color-matched to blend with your tooth. If you have a minor chip, we could use the same material in a bonding procedure to repair the damage, and to also mask cosmetic issues, such as permanent teeth stains or gaps between the teeth.
Custom Crowns
When decay is too severe for a filling, or if you have a cracked or broken tooth, we could offer repair with a dental crown. This custom restoration will be crafted from lifelike materials that can also handle daily bite forces, and can repair the tooth and offer results that blend with your smile seamlessly!
Dental Bridges
If you lose a tooth, or as many as three in a row, we can help with restorative dentistry. With a dental bridge, we can offer a custom ceramic prosthetic that contains new teeth with crowns on each end. We then attach the crowns to the abutment teeth on each side of the gap, so we can secure new ones in place for many years to come.
Full and Partial Dentures
If you have tooth loss too severe for a bridge, we can help. For multiple gaps in your smile, we can offer a partial denture. If you are missing most or all of your teeth, we can create and secure a full set. These will be removable, but we can also secure options held in place with dental implants. These are fixed in place and last for decades to come, possibly a lifetime!
