What We’re Doing To Keep You Safe

new health precautions

With the pandemic still an issue for much of the country, many people have put off visiting the dentist out of concerns for their health. We understand, but as dentists, we also know that avoiding even routine checkups and cleanings could spell serious trouble for your oral health. Fortunately, your Livonia, MI, dentist has instituted some changes to help protect your health and safety!

Before You See Us

When you call or contact us online to schedule a visit, we will send an email or text with necessary patient forms, as well as COVID-19 screening questions. Filling these out online eliminates the need for paperwork, providing a greener and safer way of completing necessary forms.

When You Arrive

When you do arrive for your visit, give us a call and wait for us to wave you in. Our team will ask a few simple screening questions, take your temperature, and provide hand sanitizer. We will also require you to wear a mask. We’re limiting the amount of appointments we schedule per day to ensure the waiting room provides proper social distancing, and gives us time in between each visit to clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces. We will ask you to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, and then we will provide a special hydrogen peroxide rinse. Our team will be wearing PPE, including masks, face shields, gloves, and gowns. We’ll also have special devices in use to help capture and remove aerosols from the air, significantly limiting the risk of exposure to viruses and bacteria during your visit.

The Importance of Routine Visits and Treatment

Remember, when we see you and your family for checkups and cleanings, we have a chance to administer care that lowers the risk of issues like tooth decay and gum disease. We also identify possible areas of concern in the early stages, helping you avoid painful complications like toothaches, infections, or even tooth loss. We recommend a routine visit every six months, and look forward to seeing you soon! If you have any questions about our new health and safety protocols, or if you would like to schedule your next visit, then please contact our team today. Even in these uncertain and confusing times, we want to help you enjoy optimal oral health, so you can continue to smile with confidence.
