The colder weather has made its arrival and the holiday season’s fun festivities are afoot. What more exciting way to enjoy this magical time than with our Livonia tree lighting? It’s a cozy event the whole family can enjoy. So put on your coat, mittens, and hat, and get ready for a fun evening under the spectacle of lights that makes this time of year feel so special.
What’s Happening
You and your neighbors, friends, and loved ones will meet in the lobby of the Livonia City Hall to begin this exciting night. The festivities will commence with the tree lighting ceremony for a dazzling display of sparkling lights. Like every year, this offers a truly beautiful welcome to winter. And, of course, you can enjoy lighting the tree while singing carols with the Livonia Civic Chorus.
After the ceremony, we will head toward the Civic Center Library, for delicious treats and more fun, thanks to co-sponsors, including the Livonia Rotary Club, Busch’s Fresh Food Market and more. Bundle up and head over for the following:
- A children’s magic show
- Hot cocoa and cookies
- A holiday kids’ craft corner
- A very special guest: Santa Claus
When Is It?
The ceremony and festivities take place on December 2nd and will begin at 7:00pm.
