Dr. Stewart earned a bachelor of science degree in microbiology from the University of Michigan, where he later completed his doctor of dental surgery (D.D.S.) degree. Afterward, Dr. Stewart attended his general practice residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit.
To provide the best standard of care possible, Dr. Stewart has continued his education. He has completed prestigious curriculum at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies and the Postdoctoral Dental Studies Institute.
Snoring and Sleep Apnea
Dr. Stewart focuses his continuing education on sleep dentistry. He has studied patients at a sleep lab and is one of the few Michigan dentists to have received training in combination therapy for sleep apnea treatment. Dr. Stewart is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Recognition
Dr. Stewart has been recognized as one of the top dentists in the country, earning fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Less than ten percent of American dentists have received a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy awards fellowships only by invitation to those who have made outstanding contributions to the field of dentistry or society.
Giving Back
Dr. Stewart also gives back to the community. He works with Donated Dental Services and is a regular participant in the Give Kids A Smile program. Dr. Stewart also participates in Halloween Candy Buy Back to support Operation Gratitude and US active military.
