commCome check out the Super Youth Triathlon at Clements Circle Park Saturday, August 9th and cheer on your friends and loved ones. The weather forecast is partly cloudy/82 degrees with only a 10 percent chance of rain. Wear your caps and sunscreen and join the festivities.

Start Time:  8:00AM

End Time:    1:00PM

Cost for race participants: $10 per person; pre-registration required

Description: Join the Department of Parks and Recreation in this unique event for Livonia and Redford area youth!  The Annual Super Youth Triathlon offers youths an opportunity to showcase their athletic abilities in biking, running and swimming. Boys and girls compete separately.

Distances are as follows:

11 and 12  1.5 Mi         .50 Mi    100Yd
13 and 14  2.0 Mi         .50 Mi    150Yd

Youth athletes need a swimsuit, bike, bike helmet, running shoes and a healthy desire to compete!  All participants will receive a specially designed T-shirt.  Spots are limited so register early.  Registration opens May 1 at the Parks and Recreation Office.
